<p>I got my first decks in 82, DJed all the youth clubs and house parties in my area for many years. <br />Buying all great jazz funk soul, hip hop and dance music that was around in the early 80’s. <br />You would find me in JiFS records Chadwell Heath most Saturdays, usually with Steve Davis looking at me thinking who’s this kid ! <br />Obviously picking up all the Street Sounds albums !<br />Started getting into the house scene in the late 80’s playing clubs and radio stations in east London. With residencies in a few clubs in London and Essex. <br />I Started making music in the 90’s. Our label was a favourite of John Peels and we ended up being invited to do a Peel session. <br />I have never lost my love for great music, keeping myself busy with radio a club and bar work over the years. <br />Recently I have been running a club classics night in Chelmsford covering soul, funk, hip hop and house music. <br />So happy to be joining the Street Sounds team, it such an iconic label. </p>
Our message is in the music, we are one family under a groove! Street Sounds has had vinyl running through its veins since 1982.
