Soulsearchin’JazzFunkin’AllkindsaHousin’HipHoppin’RareGroovin’&RecordLovin’ 40 years into this DJ game and still loving every minute, I started young! Buying records for as long as I can remember and then running parties as a teen in the early 80’s playing Hip Hop and soul while trying to beatmatch on Citronic decks! Whilst on London record store shopping trips to the likes of Groove Records and City Sounds I got sucked into the Chicago/Acid house explosion which led to a lifelong love of dance music encompassing all genres and styles Including House, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, Rare Groove and Latin. Hate to be pigeonholed, love to throw in a curveball or two to spice the dancefloor up. A founding member and DJ on Mad FM, I moved around several long term residencies and played at many parties mainly in my local area of Hertfordshire and North London. Stepped away from playing out for quite a while when I was married and had kids, returning to the decks around 2012 gaining a residency at Hertford House Hotel regularly going B2B and warming up for some of the dance music industry biggest names... Relocated to Lanzarote in 2017 and quickly established myself on the island with regular gigs in Clubs, Bars and restaurants as well as Carnival, Parties and Soulanza festival every February. I Host the biggest Saturday Night Dance music radio show on the island and look forward to being part of the legendary Street Sounds family…
